How We Give Back

IDEAL affiliates and staff believe in giving back and supporting our community. We are proud to donate and volunteer for a broad range of local and global nonprofits including but not limited to, Poverello House, Catholic Charities of Fresno, Marjorie Mason Center, Fairmont Ag Foundation, Family Self Sufficiency, Feed the Children and Toys for Tots.

On April 27th 2022, Austin Herzog was honored and received the award for “Outstanding Business-School Partnership ” by the Fresno Compact Committee for his role in helping to prepare students for the increasing demands of society and the workplace through his involvement in the Fairmont Elementary School Ag Program. The first K-8 comprehensive agriculture education program in California, aims to produce graduates with a deep understanding of agriculture who are prepared to anticipate and meet the changing world’s demands on agriculture with innovation and expertise. Austin has donated both time and money to helping organize the school’s new agricultural program while acting as President of the Board of Directors for the Grow The Legacy Campaign and establishing the non-profit Fairmont Ag Foundation. Austin was recognized by city officials, state senators and members of congress for his outstanding commitment to education and business partnerships throughout the central valley.
